The incredibly short transport length of these rods makes the rods unique. A sliding handle section creates a ´´semi telescopic´´ function without losing the original action of a 2 piece rod. XS CMT rods include a custom silicone butt which not only acts as a shockproof buffer for the rods when resting them on the ground but also holds the inside of the sliding blank softly and securely during transport. Every XS CMT rod comes complete with a neoprene rod protector which ensures the rod stays in optimum condition and is also great for storing an assembled rod. The rods are built with stainless steel TDG Seaguides which are very light with a wider inner diameter than conventional ceramic guides.
